“And…my parents are getting a divorce”.
The words popped up on my cell phone like any other text from a friend, but gathered their full weight as I stared at them on my screen for a minute or two.
What exactly is the appropriate response to that? Emojis fail me right now and so do words. “I’m sorry”, “let me know if you need anything” – why do those feel so hollow right now? I want to be more than words in this moment, more than a Band-aid. I want to be action. But where do I even begin?

Katie! This is so good. Even though it has been so many years since my parents divorce I can relate to what your friend is going through.
I pray that my brokenness can be a help to others. I will pray.
What a blessing of friendship in this group. Keep on keepin on. I’m sure your friend is eternally gratefully to you all.

Seriously, can you imagine how much it must glorify God when we surrender the hardest parts of our lives and use those very things to help others? That takes so much courage. You are amazing, Tiff. <3

Good Morning, Katie!
Over the past few weeks, I’ve been praying about a way that I could encourage other bloggers who have been encouraging me. Through your ministry, posts, words, comments, and faithfulness—your life has been a blessing to mine, and I wanted others to know about you!
So, I compiled a list of those bloggers who I’ve personally found to be the MOST INSPIRATIONAL on the web.
You are ONE Of these bloggers – in my estimation!
You can find the link to the list where you are featured here: http://www.melanieredd.com/the-100-most-inspiring-christian-blogs-on-the-web/
I’ve also signed up to get your emails, and tried to follow you on your social media outlets!
I pray that God will encourage you today through these simple acts~
