You’ve met them right?
The women who pour out truth and kindness on the ready. They seem to have a never-ending reserve of encouragement and knowledge, experience and truth, and it all flows out of them effortlessly.
They are Bible study leaders and teachers, mothers and grandmothers, they are writers and everyday women who seem to have an uncanny ability to know the Word, discern truth and speak life.
I don’t know about you, but when I see these women I contemplate how I might be them when I grow up. I wonder if it would be awkward if I just asked them to adopt me so I can continually soak up their wisdom?
Even as I say that I know God has not called me to be them, He has called me to be the very best me I can be.
But when exactly does that happen?
How exactly do I move from being a young mother, struggling to learn and grow, trying to figure out this life and keep my head above water, to becoming a woman who lives from a place of overflowing—a woman of wisdom?
Friends, I’m honored to have the opportunity to write for Club 31 Women today. I’m a little giddy, actually. I turn a bit fan girl when I get to write for a site I regard so highly – a site with writers whose books I gladly spend my own hard earned money on. If you have never visited Club 31 Women you are in for a treat – a site wholly devoted to encouragement and truth, women who are following hard and seeking to do this life well.
I’d love for you to join me there today as we discuss 7 Ways to Become a Woman of Wisdom.
